Manjit Minhas co-founded Minhas Breweries, Distillery and Wineries with her brother Ravinder when she was 19, and is an investor on CBC's Dragons' Den. Educated as a petroleum engineer, she has been named one of Canada's Top 40 Under 40, and in 2024 became the first woman to own a Canadian Elite Basketball League team.
